Steps

  1. 1

First, mash the bananas with a fork until they become a puree. Add the yogurt and mix well. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and salt. Add the vegetable oil, banana puree, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Fold in the sifted flour with the baking powder and baking soda. Mix everything together and finally incorporate the chopped walnuts.

  2. 2

Fold in the sifted flour with the baking powder and baking soda. Mix everything together and finally incorporate the chopped walnuts. Grease and flour a loaf pan and pour in the mixture. Decorate the top with whole walnuts and bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 45 minutes.

  3. 3

Always do the toothpick test; if it comes out clean, the banana bread is done. Otherwise, continue baking for a few more minutes. While the banana bread cools, prepare the glaze with powdered sugar (about 100 grams) and 1-2 tablespoons of water, which you will use to decorate the banana bread before serving.
