to prepare sauce heat olive oil in a large sauce pan, add onion & garlic cook until soft. & transparent. not brown!!

add tom, tom paste, sugar, salt, oregano, basil, red& black pepper

bring 2 a boil& simmer uncovered 30 min

preheat oven to 375°

to prepare lasagna, combine ricotta cheese, spinach& egg in large bowl. mix well

coat bottom of 13 x 9 inch baking pan with 1/3 of tom sauce, cover sauce with 3 noodles without overlapping, break noodles to fit, layer on 1/2 ricotta mixture & 1/2 mozz cheese& 1/2 remaining sauce repeat until done sprinkle parm/ regg cheese ontop

place on baking sheet & bake 40 min or until bubbly let stand 15 min before cutting.
