Creole Salsa Creole Salsa
Salsa with a Creole flavor is so yummy! I stumbled across the recipe in an old cookbook that belonged to my great granny. I enjoyed it so much that I made enough to be canned! So far…24 pints and 7 half pints of Creole Salsa sitting on the shelf. Edit: second batch: I used fresh big boy tomatoes in place of the “store bought” can of tomatoes. My neighbor asked if I cooked it before canning? Nope, it’s cooked during canning.#GlobalApron 2024 Sonya Bankester -
Canning Homemade Salsa Canning Homemade Salsa
Canning salsa is easy. It's so inspiring to me to be able to take my summer harvest of veggies from the garden and turn them into a lasting source of food for my family. It also allows me to do fun projects with my husband, Donk, and share our ideas in the kitchen! If you want super hot salsa, just add more jalapeños to this recipe. This will have a shelf life of a couple of years and has an awesome flavor for your Mexican dishes. James Freeman (Donk) -

Sheree's Homemade Salsa made with canned tomatoes Sheree's Homemade Salsa made with canned tomatoes
This is not authentic Latin or Mexican food, but good none the less. One night I made quesadillas and was out of jarred salsa.. I made this and now I make a jar and keep it in the fridge to snack on with chips.... This is mild and can be spicier by adding a diced medium size jalapeño... MsKipper -

Quick Salsa Quick Salsa
I suppose it would be easier to put the tomatoes, bell pepper, etc. to a food processor and pulse for a few seconds. But since I don't have one, I have to do it the old-fashioned way--slice and dice them manually! I call this quick salsa because I just slice and dice vegetables that I found in my fridge. If you only have tomatoes and onions, that would work, too. Angela Mertoyono -
Roasted Tomatillo and Garlic Salsa Roasted Tomatillo and Garlic Salsa
This is a classic salsa verde recipe with roasted veggies and peppers. It is heavy on the garlic as are many of my salsa recipes but it goes so well with verde sauces. This will be a solid medium heat and great with your favorite tortilla chips or on taco salads, or other Mexican cuisine as well as steaks! Boca de Fogo
