Ingredients

  1. 1 can28 oz cans of diced tomatoes
  2. 1 cantomato and green chili diced.... i use original, but you can make it as hot as you want
  3. 4 cloveminced garlic
  4. 1/3 tspsugar (to cut taste of tomato)
  5. 2 tbspdried parsley
  6. 3 tbspdried cilantro
  7. 1/4 tspsalt
  8. 1/4 tspground cumin
  9. 1/4 cupminced onion
  10. 2 tbsplime juice.... i use the real lime squeeze containers.

    Put can of regular diced tomatoes in the food processor. Pour processed tomatoes in a mixing bowl.

    Open tomato and green chilies ... Drain liquid, that contains most of the heat, and pour them in the mixing bowl.

    Add sugar, garlic, parsley, & cilantro. And add onion.

  4. 4

    Mix well... Add lime juice and taste. . add salt to taste

  5. 5

    Refrigerate in container for 2-3 hours so the flavors develop.

  6. 6

    I store in a glass jar... It is not canned so it will last refrigerated in the jar for 1-2 weeks...
