1/4 cupvodka
1 cupslivered almonds
1 tspvanilla
2 tbspcaster sugar

remove tops from strawberries and halve

place in bowl with vodka and 1 teaspoon of caster sugar.

place in refrigerator for 30 mins

whip cream to soft peaks adding vanilla and caster sugar.

heat almonds till light golden in moderate oven

place strawberries and some of the vodka in glasses
7

top with cream and cooled almonds
