Sauté onions in cooking oil.

Brown beef.

Add onions, garlic, chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, pepper, water, beans, and liquids to beef. Cover with lid.

Cook on low fire for 1.5 hours.

In a separate cup and flour and cornmeal to 1/2 cup of water a little at a time to avoid lumps.

Stir chili liquids into cup until smooth.

Stir contents back into chili.

Cook for another 30 minutes.
