Ingredients

4 serves
  1. 1 cupudah daal
  2. 1/4 cupmoong daal
  3. 1 tea spoonGinger paste
  4. 1/2chopped green chilli
  5. 1 spoonfresh grated corriender
  6. to tasteI imli ki chutney according
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 1/4 tea spoonRed Chilli powder
  9. as neededCurd blended according to vadas
  10. as neededOil for frying
  11. as neededDry Pudhina powder for garnishing
  12. 1 spoonpowdered sugar
  13. 5-7cashewnut
  14. 5-7Raisins

Steps

    Soak daal for 3 to 4 hours in winters and 2 hours I summer

  2. 2

    Blend and make paste of udah dal, moong dal, ginger

  3. 3

    Add chopped green chilli and fresh corriender, kaju and raisins... To the batter

  4. 4

    Add salt and keep steering for 5 to 7 mins.. Add little water if required. The batter should neither be thin nor thick...

  5. 5

    NOTE - Pakode wale batter se thick hona cahiye vada ka batter

  6. 6

    Heat oil and fry at medium flame

  7. 7

    After frying put the vadas in water and soak for 15 20 mins

  8. 8

    Then press little with hands..squeeze extra water

  9. 9

    Blend curd add sugar salt bhuna Jeera powder red Chilli powder and mix well

  10. 10

    Dip the vadas in curd and plate them..

    Put imli chutney. Bhuna Jeera powder.. Red Chilli powder and Pudhina powder
