Tuna Empanadas Chihuahua Style

Add flour, lard, salt, and hot water, and knead until you achieve the right consistency.

Finely chop the onion, jalapeño, and tomato, and cook them with the tuna. You can pour the water from the tuna with a little oil into the pan.

Make small dough balls and roll them out to fill.

Add plenty of oil to a pan. Wait for it to heat up.
- 5
Add the empanadas to the pan, making sure they don't burn, and flip them. Remember to place them in a large colander to drain the oil when done, and you're all set!
