Preheat oven 350. In large bowl beat butter, sugar, egg, rum extract until light and fluffy, then add flour, cocoa, salt, baking powder and baking soda, beat well.

place place cookies 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 minutes. Cool on a rack.
