Soak Pearl millet for about 3 hours and roasted green gram for 15 minutes.

After they get soaked, drain the water.

Take water in a pressure cooker, add soaked pearl millet and green gram.

Pressure cook for about ‘5’ whistles on low flame.

Turn off the flame, keep aside. Let it cool.

Now remove the lid, add 2 tablespoon of jaggery and mix it well.

Heat clarified butter/ ghee in a shallow pan. Add almonds and raisins to it.

Let them fry for 1 to 2 secs. Add this fried mix to the above prepared payasam.

Stir well, add cardamom powder.

Serve cold/at room temperature 🙂
