Ingredients

  1. 7 cupsliced apples
  2. 1 tsplemon juice
  3. 1 tspvanilla
  4. 3/4 cupchopped pecans
  5. 1/3 cuppacked brown sugar
  6. 3 tbspsugar
  7. 4 1/2 tspcinnamon
  8. 1 tbspcornstarch
  9. 1/4 cupcaramel ice cream topping
  10. 19 inch unbaked pie shell
  11. 3 tbspmelted butter
  12. 1Streusel Topping
  13. 3/4 cupflour
  14. 2/3 cupchopped pecans
  15. 1/4 cupsugar
  16. 6 tbspcold butter
  17. 1/4 cupcaramel ice cream topping

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In a large bowl,toss apples with lemon juice and vanilla. Combine the pecans, sugars, cinnamon and cornstarch, add apple mixture and toss to coat.

    Pour caramel topping over the bottom of the pastry shell, top with apple mixture (shell will be full). Drizzle with butter

    In a small bowl, combine the flour, pecans and sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over filling

    Bake at 350 for 55-65 minutes or until filling is bubbly and topping is browned. Immediately drizzle with caramel topping. Cool on wire rack
