Ingredients

  1. 3 lbround steak, 1 inch thick
  2. 1 cupflour
  3. 2 tsponion salt
  4. 2 tsppaprika
  5. 1 tsppepper
  6. 1 cupsourdough starter
  7. 3/4 cuplard, shortening or oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    cut steak into 6 pcs. pound to 1/2 in. thick.

    combine flour and seasonings in a shallow boel

  3. 3

    dip flattened steak in starter, then dredge in flour mix.

  4. 4

    fry in oil over med to med high heat until golden brown and crispy, 8 min. or so.
