Steps

Wash and soak the rice for half an hour. Keep aside.

Heat ghee in heavy bottom pan and deep fried the nuts till golden. Remove them in a plate and keep aside.

Now add clove and badi elaichi. Add soaked rice and saute them till it becomes translucent.

Now add 2 cup of boiling water and kesar strands alongwith milk.

Cook it on low flame till it is about 3/4 way cooked. Now add sugar and elaichi powder. Mix well and cook to perfection.

Turn off the flame. Keep the pan cover for 10 min. Now add mixed nuts and serve hot.
