All American Cheeseburger All American Cheeseburger
It’s the 4th of July, which here, in the United States, is our Independence Day! We celebrate with bbq and fireworks. This is a bare bones cheeseburger and can be dolled up with anything you like. We go with tomato, onions, pickle, lettuce, ketchup, mayo, mustard, bacon and anything else you can think of. Personally I’m a purest, and LOVE a good juicy burger with cheese and a toasted bun. Barbecue cheeseburger meatloaf Barbecue cheeseburger meatloaf
This is yet another one of those spur-of-the moment recipes which I love. Not only are they great for exercising creativity, they're also extra satisfying when they turn out well. Which this one definitely did. This time around, it started with a package of mince. The original plan was to turn it into smashburgers or koftas, but my wife requested meat loaf instead. So it was off to the market to get some ingredients. As I walked through the cheese aisle it occured to me that I could make the loaf a hundred times more interesting by adding cheese to it. And maybe not just sprinkled cheese on top, but somehow stuffed inside the loaf so it'd get all gooey and melty. Needless to say, I finished the shopping trip lickety-split and zipped straight home to get to work. As I said off the top, the dish turned out well. That's actually an understatement, because between my wife and I (our daughter ate ahead, because it's a school night) we managed to finish half of a pretty big loaf, along with a healthy serving of mashed potatoes. So yeah, there you go. Barbecue cheeseburger meatloaf. It's a thing, it's delicious, and you should give it a try. Robert Gonzal -

Macaroni and Cheese Macaroni and Cheese
I grew up eating a certain boxed mac and cheese. Never real homemade macaroni. I didn't understand what the big deal was until I tasted my former mother in-law's. Hers was AMAZING! I have been trying for years to get mine to be somewhere close to hers but to no avail. So I decided to ask around (couldn't ask my ex mother in-law) and after many holidays of trying different combinations, I think we've found the winning recipe! My family loved it so much this past Thanksgiving I had to make another pan of it today (3 days after thanksgiving!) I hope everyone else likes it too Beth -

Gooey, Cheesy Macaroni au Gratin Gooey, Cheesy Macaroni au Gratin
This is a gratin I've made for more than 20 years. For an easy gratin recipe, please see. Make a lot of white sauce and freeze the leftovers. You can also add the macaroni directly to the white sauce in Step 4. If making only a small amount, you can also use a toaster oven to bake it. The white sauce will harden as is cools. In that case, adjust with a bit of milk. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221 cookpad.japan
