Ingredients

  • salad
  • 1/2chinese cabbage or savoy cabbage, shredded finely
  • 6spring onions, 5mm lengths
  • 100 gramslightly roasted slivered almonds or pinenuts
  • 100 gramschang's fried noodles
  • dressing
  • 1/4 cupwhite vinegar
  • 1/4 cupcastor sugar
  • 1 tbspsoynd sauce
  • 2 tspsesame oil (optional)
  • 1/2 cupolive oil

Steps

15 mins
  1. 1

    combine all the dressing ingredients in a saucepan. stir well over low heat until sugar is dissolved. cool.

  2. 2

    toss the cabbage, spring onions, and nuts in a salad bowl

  3. 3

    add dressing & mix well.

  4. 4

    just before serving add noodles & toss well.

  5. 5

    to add something more add shredded bbq chicken or bbq pork
