Ingredients

  • cookies
  • 1 cupunsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cupsugar
  • 2eggs
  • 2 1/2 cupflour
  • 2 tspcream of tartar
  • 1 tspbaking soda
  • 1/4 tspsalt
  • topping
  • 1/4 cupsugar
  • 4 tspcinnamon

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 400°f

  2. 2

    Mix butter, sugar, and eggs

  3. 3

    Blend in flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt. Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls.

  4. 4

    Mix 4 teaspoons cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar in a shallow bowl. Coat each dough ball with cinnamon, sugar mix.

  5. 5

    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.

  6. 6

    Bake 8-10 mins. Remove immediately from baking sheet.
