cook lentils per package directions.

cut peppers, onion, and carrots. separate cilantro leaves. add to bowl.

add chickpeas, spices, lime juice and oil to bowl.

drain and rinse lentils. add to bowl. Toss salad.

chill for at least one hour and serve, either as a side or as a light meal over a bed of mixed greens.
