Ingredients

  • Beef Chilli
  • 1 lbground lean beef
  • 1 mediumonion diced
  • 1 mediumpimento pepper diced
  • 1 smallbell pepper seeded and diced
  • 1 canred beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tspsalt or to taste
  • 1 tspblack pepper or to taste
  • 1 tbspolive or vegetable oil
  • 2 clovegarlic chopped
  • 1/2 tbspItalian seasoning
  • 1 cupbeef stock or water
  • 1 can8oz spaghetti sauce
  • 1chili pepper chopped
  • 1 tbspcayenne powder

  1. 1

    season beef with salt and pepper, or you may use any other seasoning salt of your choice

  2. 2

    in a non- stick pan heat oil and add beef, cook until almost brown. about 3-4 mins

  3. 3

    add other ingredients except spaghetti sauce and half beef stock / water, reduce heat and cook covered for another 3-4 mins

  4. 4

    add spaghetti sauce and remaining beef / water . adjust taste, simmer uncovered for 5mins.

  5. 5

    remove from heat and let stand for 5mins, serve over rice, pasta, mashed potatoes and is great with bread or tortillas
