in a large bowl, mix the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and syrup

lightly grease a 9x13 in baking dish. arrange the bottom with bread dipped in the egg mixture. top with cream cheese and half a cup of blueberries. top with remaining bread crumbs that are dipped in mixture. cover and refrigerate overnight.

remove next morning about 30 minutes before baking. preheat oven to 350

cover and bake for 30 minutes. uncover and continue baking for 25-30 minutes (until center is firm and surface is lightly browned)

in a medium saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch, and water. bring to a boil. stirring constantly cook for 3-4 minutes. mix in remaining blueberries. reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes (until bluberries burst). stir in the butter and pour over french toast
