4 tspbaking powder
1/2 tspcream of tartar
1/2 tspsalt
2 tbspsugar
rest
1/2 cupshortening
1egg
2/3 cupmilk

sift dry ingredients together

add shortening. blend.

add milk slowly
4

add egg
5

stir to a stiff dough

drop by spoonfuls on a cookie sheet

bake @ 425*F for 10-15 minutes
