pour milk, half/half and heavy cream into a pan and slowly up to a boiling point but do not boil.

while its heating, add sugar and vanila extract. allow this to cook for 15 minutes.

remove from heat and chill in refrigerator.

pour into canister of ice cream maker and follow manufacturer 's instruction.

to stiffing more put in freezer for 2 hours or more. keep in freezer when not useing ice cream.makes 1 3/4 quarts.
