Heat oil and stir fry garlic and onion powders until fragrant.

Add cooked rice, break up any clumps while cooking.

Beat and pour egg mixed with soy sauce evenly over the rice and use high heat to fry until the rice is dry.

Add salt for taste and sprinkle with dried onions.
