Ingredients

6 servings
  • 700 gramsground lean beef
  • 1/2 tspgarlic
  • 1/4 tspcumin powder
  • 1/4 tsppepper
  • 1/2lemon, squeezed
  • 1/2lemon, zested
  • 1/2 cupcelery, chopped
  • 100 gramscan kidney beans, drained
  • 1/2 headcabbage, chopped
  • 1 cupred capsicum, roughly chopped
  • 2 largecarrots, chopped
  • 1 cantomatoes chopped
  • 1 canwater in empty tomato can
  • 1 literof either vegetable or beef stock
  • 1chopped parsley for serving

Steps

15 mins
  1. 1

    In a saucepan add a little oil and brown beef.

  2. 2

    Add all remaining ingredients except parsley; bring to the boil.

  3. 3

    Reduce heat and simmer. Cover for 1 hour. Garnish with parsley.

  4. 4

    Serve with crusty roll.
