Ingredients

  1. 1 can16 oz Dark kidney beans
  2. 1 can16 oz Black Beans
  3. 1 lbground pork
  4. 1/2 largegreen pepper
  5. 1/2white onion
  6. 16 ozdiced Tomatoes
  7. 32 ozTomatoe Sauce
  8. 1/2 tspCumin
  9. 1/2 tspCayenne Pepper
  10. 1 tbspChili Powder
  11. 1/2 smalljalapeno

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Brown and drain pork in large 3 quart pan.

  2. 2

    chop green pepper, onion, and jalapeno into small pieces

  3. 3

    mix the spices into the ground pork well

  4. 4

    pour in the sauce, diced tomatoes, beans, and all the chopped veggies

  5. 5

    now that everything is in the pot, bring the sauce to a boil

  6. 6

    then simmer on very low heat stirring occasional for 1 to 2 hours then remove from heat and cool for at least 10 minutes.

  7. 7

    - you can cook this ahead of time and let it cool so pan is only warm, then place in frig. This taste better every time you reheat it.
