Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 1 1/2 lbGround beef
  2. 1 1/2 ozPkg powdered spaghetti sauce mix
  3. 15 ozCan chopped tomatoes
  4. 8 ozCan tomato sauce
  5. 2Eggs, lightly beaten
  6. 1 tspSalt
  7. 1/2 cupWater
  8. 1 lbRicotta cheese
  9. 4 ozCan diced green chiles
  10. 1 lbMonterrey Jack cheese, grated

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350*F.

  2. 2

    Brown beef.

  3. 3

    Add spaghetti mix, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, and chiles to the beef. Simmer 10 min.

  4. 4

    In bowl, combine ricotta and eggs.

  5. 5

    In a 12x8x2 dish, layer: (1) 1 cup meat mixture (2) 2 tortillas (3) ricotta (4) meat (5) cheese // repeat for 2x4 tortilla stacks, end with cheese

  6. 6

    Bake for 30 min. Serves 8.
