Preheat oven to 350°F and grease two 9" x 5" x 3" loaf pans.

Combine all topping ingredients and cut together tho form a crumb - like mixture.

Sift flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice together, set aside.

In another bowl, mix together pumpkin, oil, sugar and eggs with mixer. Add flour mixture to pumpkin mixture and mix well.

Fold in apples.

Divide batter between pans and sprinkle topping evenly over each. Bake on MIDDLE RACK for 50 minutes. Cool in pans for 45 minutes, then remove to cooling racks.
