  • 1/2 cupshortening
  • 2 cupsugar
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 2 cupflour
  • 2eggs
  • 1/2 cupnuts
  • 2 tspvanilla
  • 4 cupfinely chopped apples
  • 1 tspcinnamon

    cream butter, sugar and eggs. add dry ingredients beat well. add apples last. bake at 350 for 20 to25 minutes
