Preheat oven to 350°F

Mix 1 cup of butter sugar eggs cocoa powder and vanilla

Mix the flour baking soda and baking powder in a separate bowl

Alternate adding the dry ingredients and the coffee to the bowl with the butter until all is mixed

In a 13 by 9 baking pan mix 1/2 cup of brown sugar, the can of desired fruit and 1/3 cup of melted butter and mix it all together to form an even layer on the bottom of the pan

Poor the cake batter on top of the fruit in the baking pan

Bake in a preheated oven for 45 minutes or until done
