  1. 1 lbground beef chuck, or meat of choice (80/20 is considered ideal for juicy hamburgers)
  2. 1 tbspWorcestershire sauce
  3. 1 tsplow sodium soy sauce
  4. 1 tspsalt
  5. 1/2 tspblack pepper
  6. 1 tbspbrown sugar
  7. 1 tsponion powder
  8. 1/2 tspgarlic powder
  9. 1 tsppaprika
  10. 1 1/2 tspparsley
  11. 1/4 tspliquid smoke
  12. 1 tspsriracha, or dijon mustard (optional)
  13. 1/2 tspsmoked paprika (optional)
  14. 1 dashcayenne pepper (optional)

  1. 1

    Add all ingredients to a bowl, mix with hands

  2. 2

    Be sure to not overwork the meat, to avoid tough patties

  3. 3

    Form into 3 (1/3 lb) patties, pressing together firmly but don't pack too densely. Optional: if making thicker patties, add a pat of butter to the middle of each one to keep moist and flavorful

  4. 4

    Grill or pan fry until desired doneness is achieved. Times will vary according to how thick you form your patties
