Steps

preheat oven to 180°c (350°f ) Gas 4. Then line the muffin tin with paper cases.

Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Then set aside to cool.

Beat the butter and sugar in a bowl until pale and fluffy, then beat in the eggs, one at a time.

Stir in the melted chocolate and cocoa powder.

Sift the flour into the mixture,then stir in the dissolved coffee.

Spoon the mixture into the paper cases

Bake for 20 minutes until risen and a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean. Transfer to wire rack to cool.

To decorate: Beat the butter,icing sugar and dissolved coffee in a bowl until pale and fluffy. Spread over cakes smoothly and sprinkle with the grated chocolate.
