Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 lbsteak-cut into bite size pieces
  2. 2 cupfresh mushrooms-chopped
  3. 1 gallonwater
  4. 1 largeonion-diced
  5. 1 stickbutter
  6. 1beef base
  7. 3/4 cupflour
  8. 3 cupswiss cheese-shredded
  9. 1 lbflat egg noodles

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Add beef base to water to taste. bring to a boil.

  2. 2

    Add steak, mushrooms and onion. Return to boil till steak is cooked

  3. 3

    Add noodles and cook till noodles are done

  4. 4

    Add cheese and stir. Cheese will stick to spoon and bottom of pan so stir until its melted

  5. 5

    melt butter in seperate pan and add flour to make a roux

  6. 6

    Add roux to pot and boil. soup will thicken as it cooks. You may have to add extra water if it gets too thick.

    dish it up and enjoy
