Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupshortening
  2. 1/2 cupsugar
  3. 1/4 cupbrown sugar
  4. 1egg
  5. 1 tspvanilla
  6. 1 cupflour
  7. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  8. 1/2 tspsalt
  9. 1/2 packageschocolate chips

Steps

  1. 1

    Beat shortening, sugar, brown sugar, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy

  2. 2

    Add flour, soda and salt. Blend well.

  3. 3

    Add chips

  4. 4

    Drop from teaspoon on to ungreased baking sheet 2" apart.

  5. 5

    Bake 8-10 minutes at 350°F
