Ingredients

  • 1 cupbutter
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 2 tbspmilk
  • 1 tspvanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cupall-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cupfinely chopped red or green candied cherries
  • 1/2 cupfinely chopped nuts
  • 3/4 cupflaked coconut

Steps

  1. 1

    Cream butter and sugar

  2. 2

    Blend in milk and vanilla

  3. 3

    Stir in flour, chopped cherries and nuts

  4. 4

    Form dough into two 8-inch rolls

  5. 5

    Roll in coconut flakes

  6. 6

    Chill thoroughly

  7. 7

    Cut into 1/4 inch slices and bake at 375 for 12 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
