Steps

Heat the oil in a pan, add the onion chilli and garlic and fry while you stir for a minute. Add the lardons cook untill golden

Add the chopped tomatoes and tomato puree to frying pan and simmer for 10-15 minutes until the sauce has thickened a little. Season with salt to taste

Whilthe sauce is cooking cook the pasta in large saucepan of boiling salted water until well cooked drain the pasta and drizzle with oil

Add the basil to the sauce mix in the drained pasta
- 5
Serve with sharings of parmesa
