Combine tomatoes, onion and carrot in medium saucepan.

Bring to a boil.

Lower heat and let simmer for 15 minutes.

Purée mixture in blender, a little at a time.

Sauté garlic in oil in large saucepan for 1 minute.

Stir in purée mixture,salt, basil and parsley flakes.

Cook 5 minutes,

Serve with grated Parmesan.
