set baking sheet aside with a sheet of wax paper or aluminum foil

melt stick of butter over medium heat in med sized saucepan

add sugar, cocoa, and milk

mix thoroughly

boil for 2 minutes while stirring constantly

after 2 minutes add peanut butter

stir until peanut butter is melted

add vanilla and oatmeal

mix until oatmeal is covered and remove from heat

scoop out spoonfuls of mix and place on baking sheet

let sit until cool
