Defrost quickly to use in soups, chili, pasta, tacos and more. Freezing in flat, small portions makes reheating much faster.

Brown and mix on medium/high heat.

Drain grease, rinse in cold water.

(Freeze) Store in one pound increments in ziplock bags. Squeeze out any air and freeze flat. Good for up to six months stored in a deep freeze. Thaw overnight in the fridge or defrost and cook directly in a skillet.

*Health Hint* Use a variety of lean ground meats like chicken or turkey instead of ground beef.

TIP - Season while reheating rather than while cooking so you don't limit what you can use it for.
