Ingredients

  1. 8 ozcan sliced mushrooms
  2. 4celery ribs, chopped
  3. 1/4 cupminced fresh parsley
  4. 3/4 cupbutter
  5. 1 1/2 lbday old bread, crusts removed and cubed
  6. 1 1/2 tspcelery salt
  7. 1 1/2 tsprubbed sage
  8. 1 bunchgreen onion, chopped
  9. 1 tsppoultry seasoning
  10. 1/2 tspblack pepper
  11. 2eggs, large or medium
  12. 1 can14.5oz Chicken broth

Cooking Instructions

    Drain mushrooms, set aside.

    In a large skillet, saute mushrooms, celery, onion, and parsley in butter til vegetables are tender.

    In a large bowl, toss the bread cubes with salt, sage, poultry seasoning, and pepper.

    Add the mushroom mixture

    Combine eggs and broth; add to the bread mixture and toss.

  6. 6

    Transfer to a slow cooker, cover and cook on low for 4-5 hrs, until meat thermometer reaches 160*
