Ingredients

  • 12 ozevaporated milk
  • 1/2 cupbrown sugar
  • 1/3 cupsugar
  • 1/2 tbspsalt
  • 2eggs - beaten
  • 2 tspcinnamon
  • 1 tspground ginger
  • 1/4 tspground nutmeg
  • 1 smallpie crust

Steps

  1. 1

    stem and seed pumpkin. steam pumpkin over stovetop until soft

  2. 2

    scoop out pulp, and cube pumpkin

  3. 3

    blend pumpkin until smooth

  4. 4

    in large bowl, combine 3 cups puree with remaining ingredients

  5. 5

    pour into pie shell

  6. 6

    bake at 425°F for 15 minutes. reduce to 350°F for 50 minutes
