Ingredients

  • 3 largeeggs
  • 3/4 cupSugar
  • 1/2 stickButter, softened
  • 1/2 tspSalt
  • 1 tspVanilla extract
  • 1/2 cupKaro corn syrup
  • 1/2 cupMaple syrup or honey
  • 1 1/2 cupPecan halves
  • 19 inch pie crust homemade or store bought unbaked

    Heat oven to 350

  2. 2

    Beat eggs with mixture until fluffy about 8 minutes

  3. 3

    And another mixing bowl, stir together the sugar, butter, salt, vanilla, and syrup.

  4. 4

    Gently fold this into the eggs and then gently fold in the pecans. Pour the filling into the pie crust

  5. 5

    Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, until the filling is set and no longer wobbly in the center.

  6. 6

    Let cool completely before cutting.
