  1. 2 cupmilk
  2. 1/2 cupsugar
  3. 3 tbspcornstarch
  4. 1/4 tspsalt
  5. 1 tspvanilla
  6. 1 tbspbutter

Steps

  1. 1

    Put cornstarch in small bowl

  2. 2

    Add a tiny bit water and stir to dissolve

  3. 3

    In pot add milk, sugar, cornstarch, salt and bring to soft boiling, whisking frequently

  4. 4

    Heat just til bubbling at edge of pit

  5. 5

    Add butter, vanilla

  6. 6

    Stir and heat on med low til thickened.

  7. 7

    Chill til set
