I Experimented with severel types of chili. but never found the one i liked. i made chili with what i thought would taste good in chili. its cooked in several parts. and if done properly will come out very good. i can make it spicy to fit my brothers taste or mild for my nieces.

Ingredients

  1. 2 eachGreen Peppers
  2. 2 eachRed Peppers
  3. 1 largeOnion
  4. 4 lbGround beef
  5. 1 cloveGarlic
  6. 2 canBeans
  7. 6 envelopeMcCormick Mild Chili Mix
  8. 1 tbspOnion powder
  9. 2 tbspGarlic Powder

  1. 1

    once browned take the entire contents of the frying pan and put them in a Very deep pot. and set aside for now. take 2 cans of beans that you desire and add them to the pot as well. then take the ground beef and put it in the frying pan. this can be substituted by Ground turkey if you prefer that. once browned and fully cooked. add a package of seasoning and the seasonings of your choice again to the meat. then add that also to the large pot and stir it all together.

    In a Large Frying Pan. fry up the Green and red peppers with the Onions until brown. add one whole packet of Mccormack chili powder mix. then add a few pinches of the other seasonings. at this point if you want it to be spicier then i recommend Crushed red Peppers or texas Pete hot sauce. or what ever seasoning you prefer to get it to the spicy taste you personally can handle

    At this point take the large pot and put it on the stove top and put the heat to simmer or a low heat. and cover the pot. let it cook like this for about an hour stirring every 10 mins. every time you stir the pot add another package of chili mix and more spices. When it comes up on 50 mins add All remaining seasonings. hotsauce if you like. and let it sit for the last ten mins.

    Use a Large spoon to serve in a bowl with toast or use as a topping or sauce for pasta.
