This is a very simple recipe, I am not a fan of spicey food and therefore never add any hot ingredients. However this recipe is a great base to build on as I have had a couple of friends add their touch to it.

In a large pot bring first 4 ingredients to a simmer.

Meanwhile, cook ground sausage and chicken until done. Add to rice and broth.

Slice smoked sausage and add to rice and broth
- 4
Return to a slow boil, cook until rice is done, add shrimp and heat until shrimps are heated through about 3 to 5 minutes.
