Ingredients

  1. 2 tbspLard
  2. 1/2 cupFlour
  3. 1 1/2 cupMilk
  4. 1 pinchof Salt

Steps

  1. 1

    Melt lard into frying pan.

  2. 2

    Add flour & salt.

  3. 3

    Cook over low heat until brown.

  4. 4

    Add milk, continue to cook, stirring constantly until thickened.

  5. 5

    Remove from heat and serve. Goes great with homemade biscuits.
