
shrimp and cheesy grits/with ham

peel and De-vein shrimp, in small bowl combine cajun seasoning, paprika, italian seasoning, salt, pepper, to taste. sprinkle over shrimp to coat, then set aside

make grits, in a medium saucepan bring water, bullion and 2 tablespoons butter to a boil. slowly add grits, whisking often for about 5 min. Add tomatoe paste, cream, and cheese. Keep whisking for another 2-3 minutes until grits become creamy.

saute shrimp. In large saucepan melt 2 tablespoons butter, add minced garlic and stir for about 30 sec. Add seasoned shrimp and cook until just done. remove from pan and set aside.

cook ham. Then cube it.

to serve. Place grits in a bowl, add a few shrimp n then sprinkle over a little of the ham.
