Fresh Pineapple Juice

I learned to make this while I was in Colombia. I've never met a person who hasn't liked it. Even my sister who doesn't like pineapple likes it.
Fresh Pineapple Juice
I learned to make this while I was in Colombia. I've never met a person who hasn't liked it. Even my sister who doesn't like pineapple likes it.
Steps
- 1
dice up the pineapple. I use the core
- 2
extract juice from fruit: option 1. use a juicer, 2. full blender half way and barely cover fruit with water. After fruit is broken down pass it through a wire mesh strainer. use rubber spatula to press remaining juice from the pulp. repeat this step with remaining fruit
- 3
top off gallon pitcher
- 4
I add 1 cup of sugar and 2 cups of Splenda/sucrose.
- 5
you can use all sugar or all artificial sweetner or any combination.
- 6
add or use less sweetener. it's up to you.
- 7
chill for a few hours. stir before serving. It will hold for a day in the fridge.
- 8
Enjoy. this is one of my favorite drinks and when I make it for others they love it.
