Ingredients

  1. 1 boxUncle Ben's wild rice
  2. 2/3 cupCarrots
  3. 2/3 cupOnion
  4. 2/3 cupCelery
  5. 1 boxChicken stock
  6. 2 mediumChicken breasts
  7. 3/4 cupWater
  8. 1 cupMilk
  9. 1 cupCorn starch
  10. 1 1/2 tspSeasoning from rice
  11. 1 tspParsley
  12. 1/2 tspThyme
  13. 1 tspGarlic & spice

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut chicken into cubes

  2. 2

    Sautée in oil

  3. 3

    Remove and set aside

  4. 4

    Sauté onion

  5. 5

    Cook carrots in microwave

  6. 6

    Sauté onion carrots and celery together

  7. 7

    Cook rice according to directions in separate pot with out seasoning

  8. 8

    Add stock to veggies and chicken

  9. 9

    Add rice and spices

  10. 10

    Bring to a simmer

  11. 11

    Put water and milk in a bowl with cornstarch and mix well

  12. 12

    Drizzle into soup

  13. 13

    Cook 15-20 mins or until thickened.
