Monterey melt copy cat

I really love the Monterey Melt from Whataburger. They don't always have it so I decided that when I really want one I can just make it myself. This recipe will leave you with a cup of the dressing but I just put it in a bowl to save it for other things.

Chipotle copycat at home Chipotle copycat at home
My closest chipotle is in another state and I wanted to attempt this after seeing other people on TikTok making a homemade version. The picture above is actually my leftover from the first night. I rolled this into 2 dinners and a lunch from the listed ingredients. I had planned this , first night was make your own chipotle bowl and a side of Chips and queso. Dinner night 2 was making your own burritos and again side was chips and queso . After that i was running low on toppings so i did a lunch with whatever toppings was left and chips like nachos. I know it looks like a lot of ingredients but its way cheaper then the restaurant and it rolled into other meals. We never been to a chipotle and probably never will. My family had fun . We did just like chipotle set up. I served as they told me what they wanted. You can do this budget friendly. I simply just went to the website and looked at the menu. My kids don’t like beans so that was more for myself, but they did get some beans and no complaints. snackle time -
Patty Melt Patty Melt
I like cooking over fire and natural wood. There is some technique to it but the end product is very rewarding. Just use the best ingredients and most importantly you must take your time. This isn't a rush job scenario kids. Its a yin yang between food and fire. I don't mess with salts and seasonings too much. The tastes are as god intended. johnthack322 -

Tuna Melt Dip Tuna Melt Dip
This came about because I wanted to make tuna melt lettece wraps but needed a way to make them to eat as soon as the hot tuna and cheese was scooped in the lettece cup so it would keep the lettece crisp for everone. This worked out so well that the next time I made it I added various dipping items and crackers and rolls so everone was happy. This makes an easy fun lunch or appetizer! fenway -

Tuna Melt Italiano Tuna Melt Italiano
I was bored to death of the idea of a regular tuna melt, but I felt like a tuna sandwich. Plus, I didn't feel like a lot of mayo or want to put a lot of time in, so I made a tuna melt more Italian style, and it came out quite nice. It's inside out toasted, slightly spicy, mozzarella melty goodness. Sean
