Ingredients

  1. 1 Bunchgreen leaves
  2. 1Brinjal
  3. 1Sweet Potato
  4. 1 CupRice stock
  5. 1 Pinchhing
  6. 10Crushed Garlic
  7. 2Dry Red Chillies
  8. 1 tspMustard,Cumin seeds mix
  9. 2 tbspBroken Rice
  10. Salt to taate
  11. Oil as needed

Steps

  1. 1

    Chop the green leaves,Cut brinjal and Sweet potatoes into small cubes Keep aside.
    Soak rice for 15 minutes.
    Heat oil in kadhai. add hing,mustard and cumin seeds when start spluttering add red chillies (broken into half) crushed garlic fry till brown, add rice stock after one boil add broken rice cook till done.

    Add brinjal and Sweet Potato cook another 10 minutes, add saag stir well when saag shrink down add salt cook till done.
    Serve as side dish with rice.
