Ingredients

  1. 2 cupself rising corn meal
  2. 1/2 cupflour
  3. 1egg
  4. 1 mediumchopped onion
  5. 1 tspbaking powder
  6. 1 1/2 cupbuttermilk
  7. Self rising cornmeal
  8. 1 cupcormeal
  9. 1 tbspbaking powder
  10. 1/2 tspsalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix ingredients together.

  2. 2

    Heat oil to 350°

  3. 3

    Drop teaspoons of batter into hot oil.

  4. 4

    Fry until golden. About 8 minutes.
